Project Overview
"My Body is Not A Prayer Request: Disability Justice in the Church", with Brazos in May 2022. The book traces the experience with (unintentional) ableism as a disabled woman in the church, and invites readers to rethink their assumptions about disability. Ultimately, the book casts a new vision for including disabled people in church spaces, so that we are not merely just tolerated, but celebrated.
Outcome
I was commissioned to create piece of art that reflected the story and essence of this book.
